Brickshots is an app that turns your photos into buildable Lego portraits - of you, your kids, your partner, celebrities, even your pets!

The Brickshots lego portrait app converts your photos into visual brick-by-brick instructions to build 15 inch square pictures out of Lego bricks.


How it works

Take or choose a photo with your device and the app lets you zoom in to the face youre interested in, instantly showing you what the final Lego picture will look like.

You can choose from a variety of colour schemes that the Brickshots team has found from experience give the best results, or you can create your own colour schemes.

The app then gives you a shopping list of Lego bricks - get hold of them however you like - new from Lego, second hand from the internet, or just out of the toy box in your attic.

When you have the bricks, use the apps step-by-step building instructions to build your masterpiece.

Or get a PDF (Adobe Acrobat) file of the instructions and required bricks.

Designing the best Brickshots is quite a skill, so the app also lets you view and rate Brickshots designed by other people (if they mark them public). So finally youll be able to build that perfect Lego picture of Rihanna or Leonardo!
